The wave has begun

We sense its most subtle announcement

Do you catch a sense of movement

A sense of direction

An awareness of some texture

Or a sound

Some sense of a geometrical shape

Wanting to be shaped in the room

Celestial wind passing through you

Carrying you on its generous waves

in the levee

resides the whole of the phrase

the whole of the movement that wants to

be expressed through you

like a surfer catching a wave

and dancing it

surrendering to its shape and force

again and again
