Or perhaps and even better BEING simultaneously BOTH

 

Both Inside and out

 

Your skin a membrane in between

 

Through being in touch with your body

As if in conversation

 

Pulsating

A pulsation created by the magnetism between the polarities of contraction

and expansion

 

Like a cell in your body

Breathing

Pulsing

Open-close, open-close

 

Yet YOU as awareness somehow detached from all that automatic activity

 

A perception of flow

 

A sense of time

suspended

Situated in a specific place

Yet everywhere

 

So rather

A space

 

and being in that space

moving through that space on the waves of time

 

or with time

 

or using time

 

leaving time

 

leaving traces behind, of your movement, as inscriptions

 

both   

in that place                          and inside ourselves as memory

 

 

 

a residue of the dance

 

 

                                            the movement

 

 

 

the trip made

 

 

experience

consciousness

being aware of your awareness

 

                       

 

 

traces

residue

memory

 

 

 

 

 

and multiple ways of accounting for the traces

through different media

 

 

just a possibility

 

 

 

 

Flow of consciousness

Being aware of what’s going on inside your body

 

Where are the tensions situated?

What movement gives you pleasure?

 

 

What position gives you

consolation

 

pain 

 

stress

An interplay of resistance and flow

 

Doing generates flow

Movement = Not static!

Hence the movement in the so called static

Restless minds

Never allow for an ideal freeze or static

 

Escaping

Retrieving

Attacking

Freeze flight and fight all over again

and  -  as if using a loop pedal that you push in after one or just a few sounds

or after a small phrase  -

 

Just play on auto loop that small soundbite

Over and over

 

replay it

repeat it

over and over

for as long as it takes for you to be able to detach from the body and find space

between you as awareness, as listener and you as player, playing these sounds

 

over and over

 

cross the boundaries of your want or need to change

feel the tension this creates in your body

 

while just keep on playing the same thing

over and over

 

and just take this tension withing you

with you

 

NOW

 

While repeating the one thing

As if breathing again

Breathe

And start playing another sound or sounds or phrase and repeat all over

 

Do this for 10 minutes minimum.
